Longleaf Animal Rescue is dedicated to giving every animal a chance at a better life. 

We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets of all ages and circumstances, providing medical care and life-saving support.

Our sanctuary program provides a permanent, loving home for animals with special needs—including seniors, hospice, and medically fragile pets—ensuring they live with comfort, dignity, and care for the rest of their lives.

We also partner with and support rescue and shelter organizations across North Carolina, helping to save more lives through collaboration, resources, and shared expertise.

Separately, we help owners plan for their pets’ futures through legacy planning, ensuring that beloved companions are protected and cared for even if circumstances change.
